Magnolia


Magnolia is the second largest neighborhood of Seattle, Washington by area. It occupies a hilly peninsula northwest of downtown. Magnolia has been a part of the city since 1891. A good portion of the peninsula is taken up by Discovery Park, formerly the U.S. Army's Fort Lawton. It is known for beautiful waterfront real estate and its family-oriented charm. It is also home to Seattle's largest park, Discovery Park, providing visitors amazing views of the Puget Sound and a looping hiking trail.



of things to do there, Green Lake is a highly popular neighborhood. In the past 15 years or so there has been a great deal of development–new condos and town homes, remodeling of houses, and many new businesses.
